Most of our clients are second-home owners in l’Empordà. The house is here; they spend 2 or 3 months a year in it. For the other 9 months the solar installation keeps generating with no one watching, the alarm guards an empty house, the KNX and Loxone sensors do their job in silence — and if something breaks, they don’t find out until they’re back.

Sunfort Care fixes that: we keep an eye on your system every day, alert you before a minor issue becomes a real headache, and give you the peace of mind that someone is on it while you’re at home.

What Sunfort Care includes

Three tiers. Pick the one that fits your system and the level of cover you need:

🟢 Watch — 30 €/month VAT included

For those with a straightforward installation who simply want to know someone is watching.

  • 24/7 monitoring of key equipment (PV inverter, batteries, Shellys, critical sensors)
  • Proactive alert by Telegram or email if anything drops offline for more than 12 hours
  • Monthly PDF report covering solar production, alarms and overall system health
  • 10 % discount on the standard hourly rate for technical labour

🟡 Watch+ — 65 €/month VAT included

For those who want fast response times and remote support included.

Everything in Watch, plus:

  • SLA: guaranteed technical response within 24 working hours
  • Unlimited reasonable remote support (Home Assistant changes, KNX adjustments, Loxone configurations, new integrations) — no per-call invoice
  • 15 % discount on labour and materials

🔴 Care — 130 €/month VAT included

For full integrated systems — KNX/Loxone, high technological dependency.

Everything in Watch+, plus:

  • Quarterly on-site preventive visit: physical inspection of equipment, sensor cleaning, alarm test, battery check, firmware updates
  • Priority emergency SLA: response within 4 working hours / 24 hours at weekends
  • 20 % discount on materials

Initial onboarding: 180 € VAT included

Whichever tier you choose, we begin with an on-site visit that covers:

  • Full inventory of all equipment and systems
  • Installation and configuration of monitoring
  • Baseline document recording the current state of your system for future reference
  • Connectivity and alarm verification

This is a one-off cost — it is not repeated. It is billed together with the first monthly instalment.

Why it makes sense for your property

1. The house is unoccupied for most of the year. In l’Empordà, German, French and Belgian owners typically spend 2 or 3 months there in summer and the occasional weekend. For the rest of the year, nobody checks anything.

2. Silent faults are the worst kind. An inverter tripped by a voltage spike that never reset itself. A battery that no longer holds a full charge. A temperature probe hanging that never triggers the heating. An alarm knocked offline by a Wi-Fi dropout. None of these things shout for attention — until they do.

3. A timely fix costs far less. A planned repair, carried out when you’re in the loop, costs a fraction of an emergency call-out when you arrive and discover the problem. Sunfort Care turns “surprise” breakdowns into scheduled jobs.

4. Your property works harder for you. If your solar installation runs properly during the 9 months you’re not there, it offsets the standing consumption (alarm, fridge, pumps, etc.) and can export energy to the grid. A silent three-month outage means writing off 200–400 € in savings.

What is not included

To be clear:

  • New hardware: if a new sensor, battery or camera is needed, it is invoiced separately (at the applicable discount).
  • Structural or trade work: if you need a builder, plumber or painter, that is outside our scope.
  • On-site visits not included in your tier: if you are on Watch or Watch+ and need a physical visit, it is charged at the current rate less your discount.
  • Long-distance call-outs: we cover Empuriabrava, Roses, Castelló d’Empúries, Sant Pere Pescador, l’Escala, Llançà and neighbouring municipalities. Outside this area, travel costs are billed separately.

Contract terms

  • Initial term: 12 months
  • Renewal: automatic annual rollover, cancellable with 30 days’ notice
  • Billing: monthly by default; annual with a 5 % discount
  • Payment: SEPA direct debit
  • Tier changes: you can switch tier at any time, effective from the following month

Pilot 2026: limited places

We are launching Sunfort Care as a recurring product in 2026. To maintain service quality during the initial phase, we are accepting a limited number of clients in the first 6 months. If you are already a Sunfort Solar client and want to formalise the monitoring we have been doing informally, now is the time.
